Well, our honeymoon was officially over last night when we flew back to Wichita. Thanks to my mommy our children were clean and sleeping when we arrived. They were glad to see us (Josiah said he wanted Nana when he saw me) I guess when they woke up this morning.
We had a wonderful trip to Orlando, the weather was beautiful (70's) and it was so nice to have 31/2 days together without little ones around. We had only a few bumps in the travel plans (flight junk) and we really enjoyed everything we saw. The first day we went to The Holy Land Experience which is a replica of Jerusalem. It was much smaller than we anticipated, but it was neat to visit. We took a lot of pictures there...but that was the only pics we got of the whole trip! Go figure! Then we walked to the Millennium Mall which was pretty big with all kinds of fancy stores that I hadn't ever heard of. We didn't buy a single thing except Chick Fil A for lunch! We took a cab back to the hotel for a little down time and then we headed out on foot in search of a movie theatre. Instead we found a Pirate Mini golf place and so we had a lot of fun playing that until dinner time.
Day two we went to Universal Studios and Island of Adventure where we rode a fabulous rollercoaster and ate yummy shrimp at Bubba Gumps. It was a good day, but exhausting.
We lounged around the hotel yesterday until check out and then went to the airport. We were delayed for a little while but not as bad as people around us.
Tomorrow we are headed to KC for Christmas with my family. It is Nanny ad Grandpa's 50th Anniversary so we have rented out a Bed and Breakfast and all the aunts and uncles will be there. We will celebrate big time!
Hope you all have a happy new year and I will post more soon
Happy 2008!
