Party on!
Can I just say that I love birthdays? I do! I love it when your kids are little and they are so excited to have their friends come and play. Opening presents is fun of course and the cake, well what tops the cake? I have drug my feet all week with preparations and now I think I am ready. We are going to play old fashioned games (from when I was little) drop the hankie, musical chairs and maybe even a little pin the tail on the donkey! He is so excited and I am so excited. I can't wait to do Megan's party next! Here is another little walk down memory lane for me...I have been thinking a lot about Ian this week and what he is missing. I am a little sad for Josiah, but so thankful he has another "daddy" now.

what beautiful pics! ok so now the tears are flowing...just hard not to miss him, especially in situations like this. but i know that Ian is so happy for Josiah and Robert and this is ultimately God's plan.. Josiah looks the same, amazing how some people look the same even from the beginning!! Have a happy birthday big man! We Love You!

We do all know that this is God's plan...and oh how thankful I am that God has sent you both such a great man in Robert. You said it best, the sad part is when you think about Josiah and how much Ian is missing out on. Thanks for posting that picture. Josiah is going to be so thankful for those pictures someday! :)
