Something I Never Thought I Would Say...

Papa always has Skittles at his office for the kids to enjoy, bless his heart. After a stop at his office today, Josiah had his trusty American Family envelope with Skittles for his enjoyment. As we were driving home, he started screaming from the backseat, you know that "there is something terribly wrong scream". I turned around and he was sniffing in and crying and all I could see was something green stuck in his nose. Luckily I was stopped and could turn around and to try and dig the green (his favorite color, or course) Skittle out of his nose! I could not believe it! I told him that he could never do that again...without consequences. He then takes a big old sniff and says, "mmm, skittle juice"...I could only shake my head and say under my breath, "you are going to be the death of me".

Why do kids put things in their nose? I don't get it! :-) I love Skittles but have never stuck them anywhere but in my mouth. haha. Maybe its a boy thing?!?

Oh I just love that boy! You should have known it was coming... he is a lot like his dear old Auntie! You know the puzzle thing, sticking things up his nose would be next on the list! :-) Can't wait to see you!

Yeah, I've had to pull raisins and other random items out of both of my boys noses already! It goes on the list of things you never thought you said as a Mom, "get that raisin out of your nose or I'll have to spank your bottom." Didn't think my little cherubs would ever do that. Chris---I can tell you this, we've only just begun!

A friend of mine had to take her son to the Dr on a Saturday to have him get the pea out of his nose. Classic. I keep telling Knox, when he gets in trouble, that is why God made you so cute....so that I don't kill you.

My sister Kim once put a head band in her ear and the beads broke loose in her ear. She didn't tell my mom for a few weeks. When I was "young" I made my other little sister sniff pepper to make her sneeze. She got a nose full of pepper and I had to help her clean it out as my punishment. What's the deal with kids?

I'm laughing out loud. I recently discovered that boys are definitely why mommies get gray hair. If Jonathan scares me to death daily now, what will it be like when he's 5, 10, 15??????

By the way, your music is incredible!! I HAVE to figure out how to do that.
