Cruise Day 1

I had been praying about this trip for weeks...just praying that we would really have a great time together and that God would show himself to us as a couple. I knew as the week approached that we were going to have a time of Spiritual renewal because satan really tried everything to bring us down.
Monday, before we left, I started to feel yucky... and by that night Robert did too. I was in denial thinking maybe I was tired but by Tuesday I knew it was a sinus infection. On a whim I called our doctor and she called us both in some medicine, which we started that night. Tuesday morning as we were getting ready for the day, something happened with our toilet and long story short, the tank cracked and water went all over our bathroom. $$$$ later we had a new toilet...ugh! We really just laughed knowing that it was better it happened before we left than when Grandpa and Grandma were here.
So we left Wednesday morning and the flights were pretty uneventful...except our heads feeling like they were going to pop! After breakfast we took a crazy taxi to the port and were amazed at what we saw...what a sight.

We boarded the ship and we were amazed at how HUGE it was!

On the deck before we left port

Me with Miami behind me

The first of many frozen yogurt cones...24 hour ice cream...heaven I tell you!

Emergency drill fun

I think we were the only ones taking pictures

Bye Bye Miami

I wish that we had more pictures of this day, but we really thought that we couldn't possibly take pictures in the concerts. We were wrong! That night was Mandisa (my personal favorite) and 4 Him reunion concerts. God bless my sweet husband for sitting by my side as I sang every word from 4 Him's old albums. True love, I tell you, true love.

More to come...

I'm SO glad you had a wonderful time together -- and only YOU TWO could actually have FUN during the emergency drill! Can't wait to see more great shots of your special get-away!

HAHA. Tim and I were also taking pictures of our goofiness during the muster drill on our honeymoon cruise. We got a lot of weird looks from some older people as we were laughing so hard...guess that was disrepectful to be laughing during an emergency drill. :-) Oh well.
