T-Ball Practice #2

Josiah started T-ball this week and it has been humorous, to say the least. Tuesday was the first practice he went to and I left thinking that my kid may be "that kid". You know what I am talking about, right? No attention span and the one who is just a clown. He used the orange cones as his face mask and then his gun, he kept telling the coach he "had a great idea" and playing catch meant "tricking" the other person by throwing it way past them. Dad reassured me that as long as he didn't urinate in the outfield we would probably be ok.
So tonight was practice number two. After we went over the rules with him about listening to our coach ( which included leaving your "great ideas" to ourselves) and not touching the cones, I think tonight went better. He is such a clown though, and now we have the pictures to prove it, I should just let them speak for themselves! I have to remember what Robert said though, "at least he is having fun!" And boy was he having fun!

Looking quite serious about the "game"

I just like this one, so I had to throw it in

Batting

Running the bases like a goof-ball, he is so funny sometimes. Of course he couldn't ALWAYS run them the "boring" way!

These last two crack me up. He got bored on second base and put the helmet over his face. He was out there wiggling around like he was a robot...

Then when they were telling him to go to third he didn't bother to take it off his face he just ran. I was laughing so hard I didn't know what to do. By the time he got to home plate he could see again. Maybe that is why his coach doesn't want him in a helmet!

LOL! Brings back alot of memories! Never fear, Dalton did urinate behind the dugout during his first tournament and he is a great player now!! So see, Josiah is way ahead of the game! He will have so much fun.
