Robert's Birthday Weekend In Kansas City

We headed to KC on Saturday morning and we really had a good time together. We went out to the Legends area and went to Cabelas, which was really fun. Then we headed over to the shopping area and then met up with Rah and Matt. The grand plan was to take the kids to T-Rex to eat. It turned out to be a terribly long wait (Our 30 minute wait turned into an hour) but the kids loved it. We ate a yummy dinner and then took the kids back to the hotel and put them in bed. Rah and Matt then met us at the hotel with caramel apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory! Oh, they were so yummy and it was nice to end the day spending some time with them. Sunday morning we went to Topeka to see Robert's family, which was a blessing as usual and then we headed home. It was a good weekend as a family. Happy 33rd Birthday to my hubby!
